SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human FECH (ferrochelatase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human FECH qPCR Primer Set – ferrochelatase
Also known as: EPP, EPP1, FCE
About this gene: The FECH protein is localized to the mitochondrion, where it catalyzes the insertion of the ferrous form of iron into protoporphyrin IX in the heme synthesis pathway. Mutations in FECH are linked to erythropoietic protoporphyria.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2235; HGNC ID: HGNC:3647; UniProt: P22830; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000140.5; Chromosome location: 18q21.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
