SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ALOX5AP (arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase activating protein, also called FLAP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ALOX5AP qPCR Primer Set – arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase activating protein
Also known as: FLAP
About this gene: ALOX5AP encodes a protein which, with 5-lipoxygenase, is required for leukotriene synthesis. Leukotrienes are arachidonic acid metabolites which have been implicated in various types of inflammatory responses, including asthma, arthritis and psoriasis. The ALOX5AP protein localizes to the plasma membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 241; HGNC ID: HGNC:436; UniProt: P20292; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001629.4; Chromosome location: 13q12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
