SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human FARS2 (phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial, also called PheRS) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human FARS2 qPCR Primer Set – phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial
Also known as: COXPD14, FARS1, HSPC320, PheRS, SPG77, mtPheRS
About this gene: FARS2 encodes a protein that transfers phenylalanine to its cognate tRNA. This protein localizes to the mitochondrion and is involved in mitochondrial protein translation. Mutations in FARS2 can cause combined oxidative phosphorylation deficiency 14.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10667; HGNC ID: HGNC:21062; UniProt: O95363; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006567.5; Chromosome location: 6p25.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
