About this gene: The FABP2 protein is an intracellular fatty acid-binding protein that participates in the uptake, intracellular metabolism, and transport of long-chain fatty acids. The FABP2 protein is also involved in the modulation of cell growth and proliferation. The FABP2 protein binds saturated long-chain fatty acids with high affinity, and may act as a lipid sensor to maintain energy homeostasis.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
