SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ESR2 (estrogen receptor 2, also called ER-beta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ESR2 qPCR Primer Set – estrogen receptor 2
Also known as: ER-BETA, ESR-BETA, ESRB, ESTRB, Erb, NR3A2, ODG8
About this gene: ESR2 belongs to the family of estrogen receptors and superfamily of nuclear receptor transcription factors. The gene product contains an N-terminal DNA binding domain and C-terminal ligand binding domain and is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasm, and mitochondria. Upon binding to 17beta-estradiol or related ligands, the ESR2 protein forms homo- or hetero-dimers that interact with specific DNA sequences to activate transcription.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2100; HGNC ID: HGNC:3468; UniProt: Q92731; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001437.3; Chromosome location: 14q23.2-q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
