SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human EPOR (erythropoietin receptor, also called EPO-R) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human EPOR qPCR Primer Set – erythropoietin receptor
Also known as: EPO-R
About this gene: EPOR encodes a erythropoietin receptor which belongs to the cytokine receptor family. Upon erythropoietin binding, this receptor activates Jak2 tyrosine kinase which activates different intracellular pathways including: Ras/MAP kinase, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and STAT transcription factors. The stimulated erythropoietin receptor appears to have a role in erythroid cell survival.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2057; HGNC ID: HGNC:3416; UniProt: P19235; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000121.4; Chromosome location: 19p13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
