Human ALDH7A1 qPCR Primer Set – aldehyde dehydrogenase 7 family member A1
Also known as: ATQ1, EPD, EPEO4, PDE
About this gene: The ALDH7A1 protein belongs to subfamily 7 in the aldehyde dehydrogenase gene family. These enzymes are thought to play a major role in the detoxification of aldehydes generated by alcohol metabolism and lipid peroxidation. This particular member has homology to a previously described protein from the green garden pea, the 26g pea turgor protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 501; HGNC ID: HGNC:877; UniProt: P49419; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001182.5; Chromosome location: 5q23.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
