SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ALDH3A1 (aldehyde dehydrogenase 3 family member A1, also called ALDHIII) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ALDH3A1 qPCR Primer Set – aldehyde dehydrogenase 3 family member A1
Also known as: ALDH3, ALDHIII
About this gene: Aldehyde dehydrogenases oxidize various aldehydes to the corresponding acids. They are involved in the detoxification of alcohol-derived acetaldehyde and in the metabolism of corticosteroids, biogenic amines, neurotransmitters, and lipid peroxidation. The enzyme encoded by ALDH3A1 forms a cytoplasmic homodimer that preferentially oxidizes aromatic and medium-chain saturated and unsaturated aldehyde substrates.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 218; HGNC ID: HGNC:405; UniProt: P30838; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000691.5; Chromosome location: 17p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
