SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human EIF5 (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human EIF5 qPCR Primer Set – eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5
Also known as: EIF-5, EIF-5A
About this gene: Eukaryotic translation initiation factor-5 interacts with the 40S initiation complex to promote hydrolysis of bound GTP with concomitant joining of the 60S ribosomal subunit to the 40S initiation complex. The resulting functional 80S ribosomal initiation complex is then active in peptidyl transfer and chain elongations.[supplied by OMIM, May 2010].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1983; HGNC ID: HGNC:3299; UniProt: P55010; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001969.5; Chromosome location: 14q32.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
