SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ALDH2 (aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 family member, also called ALDH-E2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ALDH2 qPCR Primer Set – aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 family member
Also known as: ALDH I, ALDH-2, ALDH-E2, ALDHI, ALDM
About this gene: The ALDH2 protein belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family of proteins. Aldehyde dehydrogenase is the second enzyme of the major oxidative pathway of alcohol metabolism. Two major liver isoforms of aldehyde dehydrogenase, cytosolic and mitochondrial, can be distinguished by their electrophoretic mobilities, kinetic properties, and subcellular localizations.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 217; HGNC ID: HGNC:404; UniProt: P05091; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000690.4; Chromosome location: 12q24.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
