SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human EIF4E2 (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E family member 2, also called h4EHP) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human EIF4E2 qPCR Primer Set – eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E family member 2
Also known as: 4E-LP, 4EHP, EIF4EL3, IF4e, h4EHP
About this gene: EIF4E2 enables RNA 7-methylguanosine cap binding activity; mRNA cap binding activity; and ubiquitin protein ligase binding activity. It is involved in negative regulation of translational initiation; negative regulation of type I interferon-mediated signaling pathway; and rescue of stalled cytosolic ribosome. Acts upstream of with a positive effect on miRNA-mediated gene silencing by inhibition of translation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9470; HGNC ID: HGNC:3293; UniProt: O60573; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004846.4; Chromosome location: 2q37.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
