Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human EIF3D (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit D, also called eIF-3-zeta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human EIF3D qPCR Primer Set – eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit D

Also known as: EIF3S7, eIF3-p66, eIF3-zeta

About this gene: Eukaryotic translation initiation factor-3, the largest of the eIFs, is a multiprotein complex composed of at least ten nonidentical subunits. The complex binds to the 40S ribosome and helps maintain the 40S and 60S ribosomal subunits in a dissociated state. The EIF3D gene product is also thought to play a role in the formation of the 40S initiation complex by interacting with the ternary complex of eIF2/GTP/methionyl-tRNA, and by promoting mRNA binding.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8664; HGNC ID: HGNC:3278; UniProt: O15371; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003753.4; Chromosome location: 22q12.3

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
