SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human EIF2A (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2A, also called eIF-2A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human EIF2A qPCR Primer Set – eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2A
Also known as: CDA02, EIF-2A, MST089, MSTP004, MSTP089
About this gene: EIF2A encodes a eukaryotic translation initiation factor that catalyzes the formation of puromycin-sensitive 80 S preinitiation complexes and the poly-directed synthesis of polyphenylalanine at low concentrations of Mg2+. This gene should not be confused with eIF2-alpha.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 83939; HGNC ID: HGNC:3254; UniProt: Q9BY44; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032025.5; Chromosome location: 3q25.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
