SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human EFHC1 (EF-hand domain containing 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human EFHC1 qPCR Primer Set – EF-hand domain containing 1
Also known as: EJM1, POC9, RIB72, dJ304B14.2, EJM
About this gene: EFHC1 encodes a EF-hand-containing calcium binding protein. The EFHC1 protein likely is involved in calcium homeostasis. Mutations in EFHC1 have been linked to susceptibility to juvenile myoclonic epilepsy and juvenile absence epilepsy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 114327; HGNC ID: HGNC:16406; UniProt: Q5JVL4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_018100.4; Chromosome location: 6p12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
