SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human EDNRA (endothelin receptor type A, also called ET-A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human EDNRA qPCR Primer Set – endothelin receptor type A
Also known as: ET-A, ETA, ETA-R, ETAR, ETRA, MFDA, hET-AR
About this gene: EDNRA encodes a receptor for endothelin-1, a peptide that is involved in potent and long-lasting vasoconstriction. This receptor associates with guanine-nucleotide-binding proteins, and this coupling activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Polymorphisms in EDNRA have been linked to migraine headache resistance.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1909; HGNC ID: HGNC:3179; UniProt: P25101; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001957.4; Chromosome location: 4q31.22-q31.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
