About this gene: EDN2 belongs to the endothelin protein family of secretory vasoconstrictive peptides. The preproprotein is processed to a short mature form which acts as a ligand for the endothelin receptors that initiate intracellular signaling events. EDN2 product is involved in a wide range of biological processes, such as hypertension and ovulation.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
