SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AKR7A2 (aldo-keto reductase family 7 member A2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human AKR7A2 qPCR Primer Set – aldo-keto reductase family 7 member A2
Also known as: AFAR, AFAR1, AFB1-AR1, AKR7
About this gene: The AKR7A2 protein belongs to the aldo/keto reductase superfamily and AKR7 family, which are involved in the detoxification of aldehydes and ketones. The AKR7 family consists of 3 genes that are present in a cluster on the p arm of chromosome 1. This protein, thought to be localized in the golgi, catalyzes the NADPH-dependent reduction of succinic semialdehyde to the endogenous neuromodulator, gamma-hydroxybutyrate.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8574; HGNC ID: HGNC:389; UniProt: O43488; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003689.4; Chromosome location: 1p36.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
