About this gene: The DYSF protein belongs to the ferlin family and is a skeletal muscle protein found linked to the sarcolemma. The DYSF gene product is involved in muscle contraction and contains C2 domains that play a role in calcium-mediated membrane fusion events, suggesting that it may be involved in membrane regeneration and repair. In addition, the protein encoded by DYSF binds caveolin-3, a skeletal muscle membrane protein which is important in the formation of caveolae.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
