SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DUT (deoxyuridine triphosphatase, also called dUTPase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human DUT qPCR Primer Set – deoxyuridine triphosphatase
Also known as: BMFDMS, dUTPase
About this gene: DUT encodes a essential enzyme of nucleotide metabolism. The DUT protein forms a ubiquitous, homotetrameric enzyme that hydrolyzes dUTP to dUMP and pyrophosphate. This reaction serves two cellular purposes: providing a precursor for the synthesis of thymine nucleotides needed for DNA replication, and limiting intracellular pools of dUTP. Elevated levels of dUTP lead to increased incorporation of uracil into DNA.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1854; HGNC ID: HGNC:3078; UniProt: P33316; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001025248.2; Chromosome location: 15q21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
