Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DUSP26 (dual specificity phosphatase 26) gene expression by real-time PCR.

Human DUSP26 qPCR Primer Set – dual specificity phosphatase 26

Also known as: DSP-4, DUSP24, LDP-4, LDP4, MKP-8, MKP8, NATA1, NEAP, SKRP3

About this gene: DUSP26 belongs to the tyrosine phosphatase family of proteins and exhibits dual specificity by dephosphorylating tyrosine as well as serine and threonine residues. DUSP26 has been described as both a tumor suppressor and an oncogene depending on the cellular context. The DUSP26 protein may regulate neuronal proliferation and has been implicated in the progression of glioblastoma through its ability to dephosphorylate the p53 tumor suppressor.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 78986; HGNC ID: HGNC:28161; UniProt: Q9BV47; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024025.3; Chromosome location: 8p12

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
