SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DTNBP1 (dystrobrevin binding protein 1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human DTNBP1 qPCR Primer Set – dystrobrevin binding protein 1
Also known as: BLOC1S8, DBND, HPS7, My031, SDY
About this gene: DTNBP1 encodes a protein that may play a role in organelle biogenesis linked to melanosomes, platelet dense granules, and lysosomes. A similar protein in mouse is a component of a protein complex termed biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles complex 1, and binds to alpha- and beta-dystrobrevins, which are components of the dystrophin-associated protein complex. Mutations in DTNBP1 are linked to Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome type 7.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 84062; HGNC ID: HGNC:17328; UniProt: Q96EV8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032122.5; Chromosome location: 6p22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
