SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PIGP (phosphatidylinositol glycan anchor biosynthesis class P, also called PIG-P) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human PIGP qPCR Primer Set – phosphatidylinositol glycan anchor biosynthesis class P
Also known as: DCRC, DCRC-S, DEE55, DSCR5, DSRC, EIEE55, PIG-P
About this gene: PIGP encodes a enzyme involved in the first step of glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchor biosynthesis. The GPI-anchor is a glycolipid found on many blood cells that serves to anchor proteins to the cell surface. The PIGP protein is a component of the GPI-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase complex that catalyzes the transfer of N-acetylglucosamine from UDP-GlcNAc to phosphatidylinositol.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51227; HGNC ID: HGNC:3046; UniProt: P57054; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_153682.3; Chromosome location: 21q22.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
