SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DR1 (down-regulator of transcription 1, also called NC2-beta) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human DR1 qPCR Primer Set – down-regulator of transcription 1
Also known as: NC2, NC2-BETA, NC2B, NCB2
About this gene: DR1 encodes a TBP- associated phosphoprotein that represses both basal and activated levels of transcription. The DR1 protein is phosphorylated in vivo and this phosphorylation affects its interaction with TBP. This protein contains a histone fold motif at the amino terminus, a TBP-binding domain, and a glutamine- and alanine-rich region. The binding of DR1 repressor complexes to TBP-promoter complexes may establish a mechanism in which an altered DNA conformation, together with the formation of higher order complexes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1810; HGNC ID: HGNC:3017; UniProt: Q01658; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001938.3; Chromosome location: 1p22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
