SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DPM2 (dolichyl-phosphate mannosyltransferase subunit 2, regulatory) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human DPM2 qPCR Primer Set – dolichyl-phosphate mannosyltransferase subunit 2, regulatory
Also known as: CDG1U
About this gene: Dolichol-phosphate mannose serves as a donor of mannosyl residues on the lumenal side of the endoplasmic reticulum. Lack of Dol-P-Man leads to defective surface expression of GPI-anchored proteins. Dol-P-Man is synthesized from GDP-mannose and dolichol-phosphate on the cytosolic side of the ER by the enzyme dolichyl-phosphate mannosyltransferase.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8818; HGNC ID: HGNC:3006; UniProt: O94777; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003863.4; Chromosome location: 9q34.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
