SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DPH2 (diphthamide biosynthesis 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human DPH2 qPCR Primer Set – diphthamide biosynthesis 2
Also known as: DEDSSH2, DPH2L2
About this gene: DPH2 is one of two human genes similar to the yeast gene dph2. The yeast gene was identified by its ability to complement a diphthamide mutant strain, and thus probably functions in diphthamide biosynthesis. Diphthamide is a post-translationally modified histidine residue present in elongation factor 2 that is the target of diphtheria toxin ADP-ribosylation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1802; HGNC ID: HGNC:3004; UniProt: Q9BQC3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001384.5; Chromosome location: 1p34.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
