SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DNMT3L (DNA methyltransferase 3 like) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human DNMT3L qPCR Primer Set – DNA methyltransferase 3 like
About this gene: CpG methylation is an epigenetic modification that is important for embryonic development, imprinting, and X-chromosome inactivation. Studies in mice have demonstrated that DNA methylation is required for mammalian development. DNMT3L encodes a nuclear protein with similarity to DNA methyltransferases, but is not thought to function as a DNA methyltransferase as it does not contain the amino acid residues necessary for methyltransferase activity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29947; HGNC ID: HGNC:2980; UniProt: Q9UJW3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_175867.3; Chromosome location: 21q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
