SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DNMT3B (DNA methyltransferase 3 beta, also called M.HsaIIIB) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human DNMT3B qPCR Primer Set – DNA methyltransferase 3 beta
Also known as: FSHD4, ICF, ICF1, M.HsaIIIB
About this gene: CpG methylation is an epigenetic modification that is important for embryonic development, imprinting, and X-chromosome inactivation. Studies in mice have demonstrated that DNA methylation is required for mammalian development. DNMT3B encodes a DNA methyltransferase which is believed to function in de novo methylation, rather than maintenance methylation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1789; HGNC ID: HGNC:2979; UniProt: Q9UBC3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006892.4; Chromosome location: 20q11.21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
