SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TRDMT1 (tRNA aspartic acid methyltransferase 1, also called Dnmt2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TRDMT1 qPCR Primer Set – tRNA aspartic acid methyltransferase 1
Also known as: DMNT2, DNMT2, MHSAIIP, PUMET, RNMT1
About this gene: TRDMT1 encodes a protein responsible for the methylation of aspartic acid transfer RNA, specifically at the cytosine-38 residue in the anticodon loop. This enzyme also possesses residual DNA- methyltransferase activity. While similar in sequence and structure to DNA cytosine methyltransferases, TRDMT1 is distinct and highly conserved in its function among taxa.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1787; HGNC ID: HGNC:2977; UniProt: O14717; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004412.7; Chromosome location: 10p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
