SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DNAJB1 (DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member B1, also called HSP40) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human DNAJB1 qPCR Primer Set – DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member B1
Also known as: HSPF1, Hdj1, Hsp40, RSPH16B, Sis1
About this gene: DNAJB1 belongs to the DnaJ or Hsp40 family of proteins. DNAJ family members are characterized by a highly conserved amino acid stretch called the 'J-domain' and function as one of the two major classes of molecular chaperones involved in a wide range of cellular events. The DNAJB1 protein is a molecular chaperone that stimulates the ATPase activity of Hsp70 heat-shock proteins in order to promote protein folding and prevent misfolded protein aggregation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3337; HGNC ID: HGNC:5270; UniProt: P25685; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006145.3; Chromosome location: 19p13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
