Human DMTF1 qPCR Primer Set – cyclin D binding myb like transcription factor 1

Also known as: DMP1, DMTF, MRUL, hDMP1

About this gene: DMTF1 encodes a transcription factor that contains a cyclin D-binding domain, three central Myb-like repeats, and two flanking acidic transactivation domains at the N- and C-termini. The DMTF1 protein is induced by the oncogenic Ras signaling pathway and acts as a tumor suppressor by activating the transcription of ARF and thus the ARF-p53 pathway to arrest cell growth or induce apoptosis. The DMTF1 gene product also activates the transcription of aminopeptidase N and may play a role in hematopoietic cell differentiation.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9988; HGNC ID: HGNC:14603; UniProt: Q9Y222; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001142327.2; Chromosome location: 7q21.12

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
