SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DMPK (DM1 protein kinase, also called DMK) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human DMPK qPCR Primer Set – DM1 protein kinase
Also known as: DM, DM1, DM1PK, DMK, MDPK, MT-PK
About this gene: The DMPK protein is a serine-threonine kinase that is closely related to other kinases that interact with members of the Rho family of small GTPases. Substrates for this enzyme include myogenin, the beta-subunit of the L-type calcium channels, and phospholemman. The 3' untranslated region of DMPK contains 5-38 copies of a CTG trinucleotide repeat.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1760; HGNC ID: HGNC:2933; UniProt: Q09013; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004409.5; Chromosome location: 19q13.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
