SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SYNM (synemin, also called Desmuslin) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human SYNM qPCR Primer Set – synemin
Also known as: DMN, SYN
About this gene: The SYNM protein is an intermediate filament family member. IF proteins are cytoskeletal proteins that confer resistance to mechanical stress and are encoded by a dispersed multigene family. The SYNM protein has been found to form a linkage between desmin, which is a subunit of the IF network, and the extracellular matrix, and provides an important structural support in muscle.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23336; HGNC ID: HGNC:24466; UniProt: O15061; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_145728.3; Chromosome location: 15q26.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
