SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AKAP1 (A-kinase anchoring protein 1, also called PRKA1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human AKAP1 qPCR Primer Set – A-kinase anchoring protein 1
Also known as: AKAP, AKAP121, AKAP149, AKAP84, D-AKAP1, PPP1R43, PRKA1, SAKAP84, TDRD17
About this gene: The A-kinase anchor proteins are a group of structurally diverse proteins, which have the common function of binding to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A and confining the holoenzyme to discrete locations within the cell. AKAP1 belongs to the AKAP family. The AKAP1 protein binds to type I and type II regulatory subunits of PKA and anchors them to the mitochondrion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8165; HGNC ID: HGNC:367; UniProt: Q92667; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003488.4; Chromosome location: 17q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
