About this gene: The DIO2 protein belongs to the iodothyronine deiodinase family. The DIO2 gene product catalyzes the conversion of prohormone thyroxine to the bioactive thyroid hormone by outer ring 5'-deiodination. DIO2 is widely expressed, including in thyroid and brain.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
