SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DHDDS (dehydrodolichyl diphosphate synthase subunit, also called CIT) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human DHDDS qPCR Primer Set – dehydrodolichyl diphosphate synthase subunit
Also known as: CIT, CPT, DEDSM, DS, HDS, RP59, hCIT
About this gene: The DHDDS protein catalyzes cis-prenyl chain elongation to produce the polyprenyl backbone of dolichol, a glycosyl carrier lipid required for the biosynthesis of multiple classes of glycoproteins. Mutations in DHDDS are linked to retinitis pigmentosa type 59.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79947; HGNC ID: HGNC:20603; UniProt: Q86SQ9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_205861.3; Chromosome location: 1p36.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
