SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DGKI (diacylglycerol kinase iota, also called DGK-iota) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human DGKI qPCR Primer Set – diacylglycerol kinase iota
Also known as: DGK-IOTA
About this gene: DGKI belongs to the type IV diacylglycerol kinase subfamily. Diacylglycerol kinases regulate the intracellular concentration of diacylglycerol through its phosphorylation, producing phosphatidic acid. The specific role of the enzyme encoded by DGKI is undetermined, however, it may play a crucial role in the production of phosphatidic acid in the retina or in recessive forms of retinal degeneration.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9162; HGNC ID: HGNC:2855; UniProt: O75912; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001321708.2; Chromosome location: 7q33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
