SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DGKD (diacylglycerol kinase delta, also called DGK-delta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human DGKD qPCR Primer Set – diacylglycerol kinase delta
Also known as: DGK-delta, DGKdelta, dgkd-2
About this gene: DGKD encodes a cytoplasmic enzyme that phosphorylates diacylglycerol to produce phosphatidic acid. Diacylglycerol and phosphatidic acid are two lipids that act as second messengers in signaling cascades. Their cellular concentrations are regulated by the DGKD protein, and so it is believed to play an important role in cellular signal transduction.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8527; HGNC ID: HGNC:2851; UniProt: Q16760; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_152879.3; Chromosome location: 2q37.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
