SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DGKA (diacylglycerol kinase alpha, also called DGK-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human DGKA qPCR Primer Set – diacylglycerol kinase alpha
Also known as: DAGK, DAGK1, DGK-alpha
About this gene: The DGKA protein belongs to the eukaryotic diacylglycerol kinase family. The DGKA gene product acts as a modulator that competes with protein kinase C for the second messenger diacylglycerol in intracellular signaling pathways. The DGKA gene product also is important for the resynthesis of phosphatidylinositols and phosphorylating diacylglycerol to phosphatidic acid.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1606; HGNC ID: HGNC:2849; UniProt: P23743; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001345.5; Chromosome location: 12q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
