SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AK1 (adenylate kinase 1, also called Myokinase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human AK1 qPCR Primer Set – adenylate kinase 1
Also known as: ADK, Adk1, CNSHA3, HTL-S-58j
About this gene: AK1 encodes a adenylate kinase enzyme involved in energy metabolism and homeostasis of cellular adenine nucleotide ratios in different intracellular compartments. AK1 is highly expressed in skeletal muscle, brain and erythrocytes. Certain mutations in AK1 resulting in a functionally inadequate enzyme are linked to a rare genetic disorder causing nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 203; HGNC ID: HGNC:361; UniProt: P00568; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000476.3; Chromosome location: 9q34.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
