SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AIRE (autoimmune regulator) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human AIRE qPCR Primer Set – autoimmune regulator
Also known as: AIRE1, APECED, APS1, APSI, PGA1
About this gene: AIRE encodes a transcriptional regulator that forms nuclear bodies and interacts with the transcriptional coactivator CREB binding protein. The AIRE protein is important for immunity by regulating the expression of autoantigens and negative selection of autoreactive T-cells in the thymus. Mutations in AIRE cause the rare autosomal-recessive systemic autoimmune disease termed autoimmune polyendocrinopathy with candidiasis and ectodermal dystrophy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 326; HGNC ID: HGNC:360; UniProt: O43918; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000383.4; Chromosome location: 21q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
