SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DDOST (dolichyl-diphosphooligosaccharide--protein glycosyltransferase non-catalytic subunit) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human DDOST qPCR Primer Set – dolichyl-diphosphooligosaccharide--protein glycosyltransferase non-catalytic subunit
Also known as: AGER1, CDG1R, GATD6, OKSWcl45, OST, OST48, WBP1
About this gene: DDOST encodes a component of the oligosaccharyltransferase complex which catalyzes the transfer of high-mannose oligosaccharides to asparagine residues on nascent polypeptides in the lumen of the rough endoplasmic reticulum. The protein complex co-purifies with ribosomes. The product of DDOST is also implicated in the processing of advanced glycation endproducts, which form from non-enzymatic reactions between sugars and proteins or lipids and are linked to aging and hyperglycemia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1650; HGNC ID: HGNC:2728; UniProt: P39656; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005216.5; Chromosome location: 1p36.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
