SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DBT (dihydrolipoamide branched chain transacylase E2, also called BCKADE2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human DBT qPCR Primer Set – dihydrolipoamide branched chain transacylase E2
Also known as: BCATE2, BCKAD-E2, BCKADE2, BCKDH-E2, BCOADC-E2, E2, E2B
About this gene: The branched-chain alpha-keto acid dehydrogenase complex is an inner-mitochondrial enzyme complex involved in the breakdown of the branched-chain amino acids isoleucine, leucine, and valine. The BCKD complex is believed to be composed of a core of 24 transacylase subunits, and associated decarboxylase, dehydrogenase, and regulatory subunits. DBT encodes a transacylase subunit.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1629; HGNC ID: HGNC:2698; UniProt: P11182; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001918.5; Chromosome location: 1p21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
