SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DARS2 (aspartyl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial, also called AspRS) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human DARS2 qPCR Primer Set – aspartyl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial
Also known as: ASPRS, CMT2LL, LBSL, MT-ASPRS, mtAspRS
About this gene: The DARS2 protein belongs to the class-II aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family. The DARS2 gene product is a mitochondrial enzyme that specifically aminoacylates aspartyl-tRNA. Mutations in DARS2 are linked to leukoencephalopathy with brainstem and spinal cord involvement and lactate elevation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55157; HGNC ID: HGNC:25538; UniProt: Q6PI48; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_018122.5; Chromosome location: 1q25.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
