SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PXDN (peroxidasin, also called hsPxd01) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human PXDN qPCR Primer Set – peroxidasin
Also known as: ASGD7, COPOA, D2S448, D2S448E, MG50, PRG2, PXN, VPO, hsPxd01
About this gene: PXDN encodes a heme-containing peroxidase that is secreted into the extracellular matrix. The PXDN gene product is involved in extracellular matrix formation, and may function in the physiological and pathological fibrogenic response in fibrotic kidney. Mutations in PXDN cause corneal opacification and other ocular anomalies, and also microphthalmia and anterior segment dysgenesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7837; HGNC ID: HGNC:14966; UniProt: Q92626; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012293.3; Chromosome location: 2p25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
