SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CYP4X1 (cytochrome P450 family 4 subfamily X member 1, also called CYPIVX1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CYP4X1 qPCR Primer Set – cytochrome P450 family 4 subfamily X member 1
Also known as: CYPIVX1
About this gene: CYP4X1 belongs to the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes and is located within a cluster of genes belonging to this superfamily on chromosome 1. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. The expression pattern of a similar rat protein suggests that this protein may be involved in neurovascular function in the brain.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 260293; HGNC ID: HGNC:20244; UniProt: Q8N118; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_178033.2; Chromosome location: 1p33|1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
