SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CYP2F1 (cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily F member 1, also called CYPIIF1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CYP2F1 qPCR Primer Set – cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily F member 1
Also known as: C2F1, CYP2F, CYPIIF1
About this gene: CYP2F1 belongs to the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. The CYP2F1 protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and is known to dehydrogenate 3-methylindole, an endogenous toxin derived from the fermentation of tryptophan, as well as xenobiotic substrates such as naphthalene and ethoxycoumarin.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1572; HGNC ID: HGNC:2632; UniProt: P24903; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000774.5; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
