Human CXCL12 qPCR Primer Set – C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 12

Also known as: IRH, PBSF, SCYB12, SDF1, TLSF, TPAR1, SDF1A, SDF1B

About this gene: This antimicrobial gene encodes a stromal cell-derived alpha chemokine member of the intercrine family. The CXCL12 protein acts as the ligand for the G-protein coupled receptor, chemokine receptor 4, and is involved in many diverse cellular functions, including embryogenesis, immune surveillance, inflammation response, tissue homeostasis, and tumor growth and metastasis. Mutations in CXCL12 are linked to resistance to human immunodeficiency virus type 1 infections.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6387; HGNC ID: HGNC:10672; UniProt: P48061; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_199168.4; Chromosome location: 10q11.21

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
