SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GJD2 (gap junction protein delta 2, also called Cx36) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human GJD2 qPCR Primer Set – gap junction protein delta 2
Also known as: CX36, GJA9
About this gene: GJD2 belongs to the connexin protein family. Connexins are gap junction proteins which are arranged in groups of 6 around a central pore to form a connexon, a component of the gap junction intercellular channel. The channels formed by this protein allow cationic molecule exchange between human beta cells and may function in the regulation of insulin secretion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 57369; HGNC ID: HGNC:19154; UniProt: Q9UKL4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020660.3; Chromosome location: 15q14
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
