SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CTSZ (cathepsin Z) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CTSZ qPCR Primer Set – cathepsin Z
Also known as: CTSX
About this gene: The CTSZ protein is a lysosomal cysteine proteinase and member of the peptidase C1 family. The CTSZ gene product exhibits both carboxy-monopeptidase and carboxy-dipeptidase activities. The CTSZ protein has also been known as cathepsin X and cathepsin P. This gene is expressed ubiquitously in cancer cell lines and primary tumors and, like other members of this family, may be involved in tumorigenesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1522; HGNC ID: HGNC:2547; UniProt: Q9UBR2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001336.4; Chromosome location: 20q13.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
