SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CTSD (cathepsin D) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CTSD qPCR Primer Set – cathepsin D
Also known as: CLN10, CPSD, HEL-S-130P
About this gene: CTSD belongs to the A1 family of peptidases. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate multiple protein products. These products include the cathepsin D light and heavy chains, which heterodimerize to form the mature enzyme.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1509; HGNC ID: HGNC:2529; UniProt: P07339; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001909.5; Chromosome location: 11p15.5
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
